Plans

Student costs €24.90 a month and Student+ €44.90 a month. In Canada, they cost CA$39.90 and CA$69.90 a month. No tax is added to these prices (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI).

Each plan comes with a monthly amount of usage: the work Rilmo does to prepare your classes, from transcripts and class material to notes, ideas and questions. Student+ has twice as much as Student. Recording, search and revision don’t count. Settings → Usage shows how much is left.

Usage starts again each time your plan renews. If it runs out sooner, Rilmo stops preparing new classes until the renewal or until you upgrade. You can still record, add files, search and revise, and everything already prepared stays.

Payment and renewal

You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, in the currency shown when you subscribe. Rilmo never sees your card number. Your plan renews every month on the day you subscribed, until you cancel.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a week and Rilmo shows a notice. If it still fails, the plan ends.

Under 18

If you’re under 18, ask a parent or guardian before subscribing.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason. Write to contact.rilmo@gmail.com or send the form at the end of this page. You’ll be refunded within 14 days, with the payment method you used.

When you subscribe, you ask for your plan to start right away, so the refund leaves out the days you’ve already had.

Changing plans or cancelling

In Settings → Usage:

  • Upgrade to Student+. It starts right away, and you pay the difference for the rest of the month.
  • Switch to Student, under Manage subscription. It starts at your next renewal.
  • Cancel subscription. Your plan runs until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then stops. That month isn’t refunded.

Deleting your account ends your plan right away, and the rest of the month isn’t refunded.

Recording classes

You’re responsible for following your school’s and faculty’s rules on recording classes, and for getting the approval they require before you record, from the teacher or anyone else. Rilmo can’t check this for you. Share your recordings and notes only as those rules allow.

Notes made by AI

Transcripts, notes, ideas and questions are written by AI and can contain mistakes. Check anything important against your course material.

Changes to these terms

If prices or these terms change, you’ll get an email at least 30 days before the change applies, and you can cancel before then.

Problems

For any problem, write to contact.rilmo@gmail.com.

If Rilmo doesn’t work as described, the legal guarantees in the box below apply.

These terms follow French law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection its consumer law gives you.

Your personal data is covered by the privacy policy.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The consumer is entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears at any time during the subscription, from the supply of the digital content or digital service. During this period, the consumer only has to establish that the lack of conformity exists, not when it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity includes the obligation to provide every update needed to keep the digital content or digital service in conformity throughout the subscription.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content or digital service brought into conformity without undue delay after their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.

The consumer can get a price reduction while keeping the digital content or digital service, or end the contract and be refunded in full in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service, if:

  1. The trader refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;
  2. Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity is unjustifiably delayed;
  3. The digital content or digital service cannot be brought into conformity without costs imposed on the consumer;
  4. Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity causes major inconvenience to the consumer;
  5. The lack of conformity of the digital content or digital service persists despite the trader’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or end of the contract. The consumer then does not have to ask first for the digital content or digital service to be brought into conformity.

Where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer may only cancel the contract if the contract does not provide for payment of a price.

Any period during which the digital content or digital service is unavailable while it is brought back into conformity suspends the remaining guarantee until the digital content or digital service is supplied in conformity again.

These rights result from articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.

A trader who in bad faith obstructs the legal guarantee of conformity faces a civil fine of up to €300,000, which can be raised to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the digital content or digital service is kept, or to a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service.
